MuchFACT continues to encourage the growth of Canadian artists through funding innovative videos. The video for A Tribe Called Red’s new single “The Virus” (feat. Saul Williams), which received a $50,000 video content award fromMuchFACT in October 2024, offers socially conscious commentary on the conflict surrounding the Dakota Access Pipeline at Standing Rock in the U.S. Since being uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday, the video, which was produced in collaboration with Bell Media’s newly announced creative hub DAIS, has already been viewed more than 31,000 times.
