A videographer with CBC Radio-Canada has been airlifted to Edmonton after a serious, single-vehicle collision near Lac La Biche, Alberta. RCMP responded to the crash scene around 5:25 a.m. MT Thursday.
Media have been staying in Lac La Biche to cover the wildfire that forced more than 80,000 people out of Fort McMurray last week.
The driver was alone in the CBC vehicle at the time of the crash. He was taken by air ambulance to a hospital in Edmonton. RCMP say he is in critical condition.
