The reason both media “turn me off” is because of the advertising code — or lack thereof. In my area there is a man with squeaky voice who does a lot of hyper radio commercials. The frequency with which his commercials causes me to leave an otherwise interesting and informative program. As for television the same beef applies — advertising. Especially the frequency of which a same advertisement appears in over an hour. Again causing me to shut the TV off. Paying for this service, to me, is not worth the money, and I wonder why I do it. The solution on my part is soon to be taken.

How many times do you need to watch ad-nausea an endless loop of ads flogging horrible products like baby life insurance and reverse mortgages on a news program? I became a cable cutter years ago. Now I watch NetFlix, no ads, and no interruptions.
